Aqua Park Suffolk to permanently close

Aqua Park Suffolk at Alton Water has again been forced to close down due to rising levels of blue-green algae. The park has closed with immediate effect (as of 10th July 2019) and will remain closed permanently.

During the winter months, Anglian Water invested heavily in trialling new ultrasonic equipment which we had all hoped would help stop the algae from returning. Unfortunately, this has not been the case.
