Argos to close Ipswich store

The Argos store in Carr Street, Ipswich, is to close down soon the retailer has announced.

The store will be closing 'in the coming months', with Argos hoping to redeploy as many staff as possible. This news follows a number of recent town centre closures from national retails and local stores.

Argos was purchased by Sainsbury's in 2016, with some Argos stores relocating into Sainsbury's branches.
